Biography
My PhD topic is on the evaluation of the design and fit of cervical collars used in emergency and rehabilitation settings. I am using various bioengineering approaches to investigate the conditions that put patients at risk of collar-related skin damage.
I enjoy a variety of sports including cycling, running, climbing and volleyball. I also play in a jazz band playing the alto sax as well as playing the clarinet and viola da gamba.
I completed my MEng in Mechanical Engineering with Biomechanics at the University of Sheffield in 2020. My research project focused on the use of computational modelling in bioengineering applications.
